Neurological reflex instruments

1. BUCK HAMMER
There are two heads for cutaneous sensation evaluation. This hammer comes with a needle and a brush.

 

2. BABINSKI HAMMER
The pointed bottom can be used as a gross aesthesiometer.

 

3. TAYLOR HAMMER
Used to elicit responses during an examination.

 

4. DEJERINE HAMMER
Used for testing deep tendon reflexes in a diagnostic evaluation. This hammer has a double-sided head composed of two rounded rubber surfaces for increased comfort.

 

5. TROEMNER HAMMER
Shaped like a two-headed mallet. The larger mallet is used to elicit tendon stretch reflexes, and the smaller mallet is used to elicit percussion myotonia.

 

6. WARTENBERG PINWHEEL
Used to elicit cutaneous sensory and pain perception responses.
